The listed price is an approximate estimate, final prices or custom orders can be quoted once we have worked out all the details. Most items are at vintage, wooden pieces in good condition and function well. (In a few cases, a newer piece can be found and made into a vintage looking piece with an old time worn style.) There will be cosmetic imperfections such as light nicks and chips, and small scrapes, as well as other signs of character and history. All these just add to the appeal of the furniture and the redesign aesthetic. Anything major, impacting the outcome of the finish negatively will be remedied. If you are wanting a piece to look as though it has a factory finish, then a custom order of a vintage piece may not be the right fit for you. I do spray some pieces in certain cases. But hand painting is my "go to technique." You can expect some signs of hand-painting through the occasional brush stroke, and through the artist's personal technique. This can include paint layering and overlapping of colors, applied patina, and even distressing. While I am an artist, I also have a perfectionist mindset that I've tried to "loosen" up as I age. I will not leave a detail unattended if it bothers me, because I know it will bother you, the owner. I create pieces that I would want in my home, so I give it my love.
ORDERING A CUSTOM PIECE:
1. Please send me several photos via Etsy, of ideas you are wanting for your piece. They can be your current furniture pieces, mine, from Pinterest, Facebook, etc.
2. At the time of reaching out about a possible custom order, please send me the following information to help assist the communication process along: A) The desired piece and any features it may need. B) Your email for better communication and your zip code. C) The time frame you need the item. D) Colors and style you want the item painted. E) Whether you want the interior painted (this adds an additional fee). F) The time frame you want the piece. G) Dimension ranges. I can work with a dimension range for each measurement but cannot promise an exact specific set of dimensions for vintage furniture. H) Any other relevant info that you think is helpful or necessary.
3. For payment, percentage of the listing payment is due at the time of purchasing the listing. The balance and the shipping fee will be due before the item is shipped. The down payment is non-refundable, with the exception that you will receive a refund if I am unable to obtain the item you desire.
THIS PIECE:
This is a one-of-a-kind piece! check out the before photo. This needed a lot of mending. I try not to have to fix so much on a piece before I get to the creative part. But this one fell into my lap. A gorgeous blue paint was used that has a primer and top coat all in one. A metallic gold was used to bring out the details and give this a glamourus feel. New wheels were added and a wood composite applique that was painted was added to the center to bring the whole look together. A walnut gel stain was used on the wood veneers. The sides are not left out of this one either. It's subtle but there's a texture that was done with paste to give interest without jumping out at you. It makes you stop and take another look at this conversational piece of storage.

At times, it may be necessary to have an able-body person available to assist a single shipper in unloading an item. Please note that delivery is interior first-floor delivery and doesn't include stairs. Due to drivers' schedules, shipping may take up to 6-7 weeks to arrange and complete, although I will strive to get your item to you as quickly as possible. Occasionally, there are mild shipping delays, and if this occurs, I'll keep you updated every step of the way.
