This hand-finished appliqué began as a mold taken from an existing decorative detail, making it possible to carry the motif into future pieces.
For a custom commission, similar appliqués can be made in resin, ceramic, or wood pulp, then finished to belong naturally with the piece.
What to know before you begin
I honor the small signs of a life already lived. Nicks, chips, and variations are part of the character, while I address any damage that would compromise the finished result.
I hand-finish every custom piece, so it is not factory-perfect. Layered color, patina, brushwork, and subtle distressing are part of its individual feel.
My timing varies by the piece. More common furniture can take about 6 to 8 weeks to source and finish, while larger, more specific pieces can take about 8 to 10 weeks.
