What to know before you begin
Vintage furniture comes with small signs of a life already lived. Those nicks, chips, and variations are part of the character, while any damage that would compromise the finished result is addressed.
Custom furniture is hand-finished, not factory-perfect. Layered color, patina, brushwork, and subtle distressing are part of its individual feel.
Timing varies by the piece. More common furniture can take about 3 to 4 months to source and finish, while especially specific large pieces can take 5 to 6 months or longer.
