I love finding quality, vintage and antique pieces to reimagine a new style for them. I use an artists detailed eye to artfully redesign them with stains, paints, stenciling, transfers, or decoupage. Please note that payment is due upfront and can be completed simply by purchasing this listing. 1) All items are vintage, wooden pieces, unless otherwise marked. They are thoroughly cleaned, and any damage is repaired except for that those cosmetic imperfections such as light nicks and chips, that add to its character and history. If only furniture could talk, right? A custom order of a vintage piece may not be the right fit for you, IF you are expecting a factory type finish. Although I am a bit of a perfectionist and won't sell anything that I don't love and wouldn't put into my own home, you can expect some signs of hand-painting through the occasional brush stroke, and through my personal technique, which may include layering of colors, applied patina, and sometimes distressing. I do have a sprayer and may use that depending on the piece and the complexity of an item.
2) For custom orders, I request that you please send me several photos of the type of furniture you hope to have refinished for you. These can be images from my shop, from Pinterest boards, the internet, etc. This and great communication will help me to understand what you're hoping to obtain. Photos of the room where it will go may be helpful as well!
3) Custom orders where I need to curate and redesign a unique, large piece may take up to 5-6 months, and MAYBE longer if the item you're searching for is very unique. Maybe it will be less time just depending on my current work load. Pieces that are more common can be estimated to take 3-4 months, or sooner, to curate and refinish and have ready to ship.
4) For payment, a percentage % of the listing price is due at the time of purchasing the listing. The remaining and any extra shipping fees will be due before the item is shipped.
The down payment is non-refundable, with the exception that you will receive a refund if I am unable to obtain the item you desire to have customized. If I don't think an item will be a guaranteed find, I will pass on the custom order. But may reach out to you if I do come across a specific piece you were looking for to see if you are still interested.
5) At the time of reaching out about a possible custom order, please send me the following information to help assist the communication process along: A) The desired piece and any features it may need, such as shelving (how many), hanging bar for clothing, etc. B) Your name, email and your zip code. When shipping is set up, I will need your phone number for the shipper to call you when he is ready and in your area to deliver to you as you must be home. It is also a good way to communicate for custom orders instead of looking for an email thru Etsy that hopefully gets to you and not your spam folder. C) The time frame, of any, that you need the item. D) Colors and style you want the item painted. E) Whether you want the interior painted and the back painted (this adds an additional fee). F) Dimension ranges. I can work with a dimension range for each measurement but cannot promise an exact specific set of dimensions for vintage furniture. G) Any other relevant info that you think is helpful or necessary.
6) All furniture items that I curate for you to redesign are in good condition with vintage imperfections. Drawers and doors will be working properly, as well as wheels will be working; hardware will be newer or original and/or refinished, or handmade.
SHIPPING: Free Delivery within the 48 continental United States. Largely populated cities may require a higher fee as well as hard to reach locations. It most likely WILL be extra to ship to: Los Angeles New York City & AREA, Long Island, and Manhattan. If you live in a building that requires permissions or has restrictions or requires insurance certificates, COIs, you may need to arrange your own shipping. Please reach out for a quote with your zip code prior to purchase. Other locations may need to add a shipping surcharge depending upon size of piece too. Contact me before purchasing and I will add it to the listing prior to purchase if needed. I will work with you to find the best shipping option available to meet your needs. Your piece will ship fully insured. At times, it may be necessary to have an able-body person available to assist a single shipper in unloading an item. Local pick up is available for a discounted price.
Please note that delivery is interior first-floor delivery and doesn't include stairs. Due to drivers' schedules, shipping may take up to 6-7 weeks to arrange and complete, although I will strive to get your item to you as quickly as possible. THIS PIECE: A one-of-a-kind French inspired armoire was hand painted to resemble an old-world antique for a fraction of the price. A full-length beveled mirror adorns the closet door. Decorative appliques were applied in several places to add character to this functional but otherwise bland piece. Then a custom blend of paints, glazes and shellacs were used to transform this from a faux wood look to an aged French armoire. If you like having unique pieces in your home that bring about a conversation with friends, instead of having the same factory manufactured piece as everyone else, then this is the piece for you! Custom hardware was made for all the exterior drawers. Inside is another drawer and four removable shelves. A special decoupage technique was used inside, giving this an interesting, aged wallpaper look. To hang clothes, there is a pullout hanging rod. The drawers and door work smoothly. It could be used as a linen closet; an office cabinet for printer and accessories; an extra bedroom closet; a nursery organizer, and more. This is a one-of-a-kind piece! An heirloom piece to pass down.

The extra shelving support pegs and screws are included. Screws were intentionally not used in the shelves so that you the buyer can easily decide how many, if any shelving you want to use inside.
