This 1920s Walnut cabinet evokes a style of dark academia while showcasing its art nouveau details. A radio cabinet that is "Storage with style!" A gorgeous conversation piece that is both art and functional! I've kept this as natural as possible but added a unique artful touch with hand painting and a beautiful decoupaged print. This measures 48" high by 22" deep by 25" wide. It has a finished interior with a shelf and a new backing put on. Every part of this is original, down to the detailed knobs. The original cabinet brass label and radio maker paper label are still present.
The top shelf is lined with decoupaged musical sheets, after all it was a radio cabinet. The inside has been painted to be easily wiped down when needed, as well as keeping those towels and linens safe.
While I love to keep beautiful woods a key part of my designs, I am not a furniture restorer. I am an artist. The wood and moldings were repaired as needed and the cracking varnish was removed. The wood was then treated with a couple of coats of hemp oil to allow the natural beauty of the wood to pop as well as nourish its dry appearance. Hemp oil dries to a hard, water-resistant finish but the wood may need another wipe down of oil after a couple of years to keep its beauty. Daily dusting and a soft damp rang when needed will otherwise be enough.

1. Please send me several photos via Etsy, of ideas you are wanting for your piece. They can be your current furniture pieces, mine, from Pinterest, Facebook, etc.
2. At the time of reaching out about a possible custom order, please send me the following information to help assist the communication process along: A) The desired piece and any features it may need. B) Your email for better communication and your zip code. C) The time frame you need the item. D) Colors and style you want the item painted. E) Whether you want the interior painted (this adds an additional fee). F) Dimension ranges. I can work with a dimension range for each measurement but cannot promise an exact specific set of dimensions for vintage furniture. G) Any other relevant info that you think is helpful or necessary.
3. For payment, a percentage of the payment is due at the time of purchasing the listing. The remainder due and any possible extra shipping fees will be due before the item is shipped. **The down payment is NON-refundable, with the exception that you will receive a refund if I am unable to obtain the item you desire to do the custom work.**
Disclaimer for hand painted & vintage/antique furniture: You can expect some signs of hand-painting through the occasional brush stroke, and through the artist's personal technique. This can include paint layering and overlapping of colors, applied patina, and even distressing. The pieces I find are well cleaned, sealed or oiled as needed. The doors and drawers will be in good working order. Major imperfections will be addressed if they hinder the final outcome of my work. Otherwise, I feel leaving aged "wear and tear" only adds to the historical beauty of the piece. It's rare that a vintage or antique piece is in pristine condition. I will not leave a detail unattended if it bothers me, because I know it will bother you, the owner. I create pieces that I would want in my home, so I give it my love.

Your piece will ship fully insured. Please message me with your zip code so I can make sure there will not be any extra shipping fees, like those for large, populated cities like Los Angeles, New York City AREA, Manhattan, or very remote places, etc. If you live in a building that requires permission or insurance certificates, you may need to arrange for your own shipping. Your phone number WILL be required to arrange shipping with the shipper. He will need to arrange with you when he enters your area for delivery. At times, it may be necessary to have an able-body person available to assist a single shipper in unloading an item. I will be in contact with you throughout the process up to delivery to see that all goes smoothly. Please note that delivery is interior first-floor delivery. Due to drivers' schedules, shipping may take up to 6-7 weeks to arrange, although I will strive to get your item to you as quickly as possible. It may take weeks to get your piece delivered depending on where you are, as the shipper travels from location to location picking up and delivering as he travels. However, the fastest has been in less than a week! Shipping is limited to the contiguous U.S. If you are able to pick up locally, there will be a discounted price.
